John Goodman Returns to Guest Star in An Episode Of
Paramount Network Television's Hit Series NOW AND AGAIN;
CBS Schedules Special Broadcast of Series On Tuesday, December 28 at 10:00 pm

Actor John Goodman is set to return to Paramount Network Television's acclaimed series NOW AND AGAIN in a special guest-starring role. Goodman, who starred in the pilot episode of the series, will reprise his role as Michael Wiseman. Goodman's one-time-only guest stint on this untitled episode will air during February sweeps.

In addition, CBS has announced plans to broadcast a special airing of NOW AND AGAIN on Tuesday, December 28th at 10:00 p.m. in the "Judging Amy'' time slot. In the episode, entitled "The Insurance Man Always Rings Twice,'' Michael discovers that Lisa (Margaret Colin) has to put their house up for sale for financial reasons. He convinces Theo (Dennis Haysbert) to let him resolve the situation by going undercover to work as the assistant to the smarmy insurance manager who was promoted over him. The episode guest stars Chad Lowe as Michael's nemesis and former boss.

The series, which Caron calls an "action-adventure-romantic-drama-comedy- musical,'' began with a special guest appearance by Goodman in the role of Michael Wiseman, a middle-aged insurance executive who dies a violent death. He soon discovers his brain has been "saved'' by a government anxious to put it in the body of a handsome 26-year-old man they have manufactured in a laboratory. With a new body and a new face (since played by Eric Close), Michael quietly dedicates himself to reuniting with his family, even as he matches wits with deadly villains and hostile foes.

The reality-bending drama from "Moonlighting'' creator Glenn Gordon Caron has boosted CBS' 9:00 p.m. time period in households and all key female and male demographics from last season. NOW AND AGAIN is responsible for younger viewers on Friday nights, increasing 28% in women 18-49 and 26% in men 18-49, year to year. In addition to the show's ratings success, NOW AND AGAIN has received stellar reviews across the board. NOW AND AGAIN is currently featured on the cover of TV Guide, which declares "the future is here! The new millennium's hottest fantasy show has already arrived.''

NOW AND AGAIN stars Eric Close, Dennis Haysbert, Heather Matarazzo, Gerrit Graham, and Margaret Colin. Recently rewarded with a full season order, NOW AND AGAIN airs Friday nights at 9:00 p.m. on CBS.
